The Queens Head BurnhamWelcome to the Queens Head in Burnham on Crouch, Essex. Located down Providence Road the Queens Head has a great reputation for Real Ales. Landlord Jim Morton certainly knows his beer and is local branch membership secretary for the Dengie 100 branch of CAMRA. The Queens Head is featured in 'The Good Beer Guide' for 2008 and 2009 (it's the only pub ib Burnham in the Guide) as well as winning Dengie CAMRA's Town Pub of the Year in 2008 making it Burnham's only CAMRA recognised pub. With regular ale Maldon Gold and up to 3 guest ales at any time (mainly micros) there is always something new to try and Jim will be more than happy to recommend something you'll like.

As well as the guest ales The Queens Head also hold beer festivals with up to 30 guest ales, food and live music so please look at our events page for what's coming up next or sign up to our newsletter to receive information about upcoming events.

The Queens Head is a traditional pub, along with the ales they have pool, darts, quiz nights, folk music and the odd band stopping by to entertain their customers. In the Summer months you can sit in the beer garden and top up  that tan. There is also a large public car park located just yards from the pub's front door so parking is never a problem. The Queens Head also provide a good lunch menu. All their food is genuinely homemade including their homebaked huffers and their ever popular pickled eggs!!
